Our Center in Takeo

Our school/childrens' home and educational farm are located 'in the middle of nowhere', in one of the poorest regions of Cambodia. Our community has approximately 9000 inhabitants of which 70% is under 21 years. The population consists mainly of poor rice farmers. Many people live far below the poverty line (less than 50 cents per day). They live without electricity, have no running water and have limited access to medical care. Precisely in this poor region, where the economy was at a  complete standstill for decades and where no tourist comes, we strive to give the children a better future. We give these children education, clothing, food, shelter and we support the disadvantaged families with sustainable small-scale projects.
